RCPA NZ ASM 2019: 15-17 NOVEMBER 2019 – A Call for IGENZ Scientific Poster Display
The NZ Committee invites all delegates to contribute to the Scientific Program of the Conference by submitting abstracts for the IGENZ Poster Display together with their completed full registration form for the Presenting Author.
IGENZ will award $500NZD for best Trainee Poster only for Anatomical and Forensic Pathology each.
To be eligible to win you must stand at your poster on Saturday 16 November at Morning Tea 10.30‐11.00am to answer any questions from the judges.
The winners will be announced on Saturday 16 November at 12.30 (lunchtime) and you must be present.
The presenting author/s must be registered for the meeting. Abstracts for these posters will be considered by a sub‐committee of the NZ Committee and all presenting authors will be notified by Monday 21 October 2019.
Deadline: Friday 18 October 2019
PRESENTATION OF ABSTRACT REQUIREMENTS: Abstracts may be rejected if not submitted in the below format.
Abstracts must not exceed 200 words (excluding title, authors and institution & statement of originality)
Abstracts must be typed in English, using 12 point font, single line spacing, in Microsoft Word.
Include as a heading- NZ ASM 2019 IGENZ Scientific Poster Display
Underline the presenting author only. Do not include titles or degrees.
Abstract must contain the aims of study, methods, results and discussion.
References should be used sparingly
Abbreviations should be only used for common terms. For uncommon term, the abbreviation should be given in brackets after the first full use of the word.
Please include a statement specifying which part of the work was your own original idea and contribution (not included in the word limit). Specify the name and location of institution where the work was done.
Name your WORD file using the following format : SURNAME ‐ NZ ASM 2019 IGENZ Poster Display ddmmyy
Poster Number: Will be allocated to each poster prior to the meeting
Poster size: Maximum AO size – Portrait Orientation
Poster Display: Posters will be on display at the Rydges Queenstown from Friday 15 until Sunday 17 November 2019. Authors are requested to have their poster displayed in the poster area by 8:30am Friday 15 November and removed by 3.00pm on Sunday 17 November.
Please do not remove the poster prior to this time.
Please note it is your responsibility to bring, mount and remove your poster.
Hanging your poster: Delegates must bring Male Velcro (hook) as the Poster Boards are Female (fluffy).
