Gladell P Paner MD is a Professor of Pathology and Surgery (Urology) and the Director of Genitourinary Pathology Service at the University of Chicago. Prof Paner has served as faculty in several international society meetings including USCAP, CAP, ASCP, IAP, ISUP, ECP, AUA, ASCO and EMUC/EAU. Prof Paner has contributed to several international genitourinary pathology practice guidelines and consensus statements, and is currently leading the CAP Cancer Protocols Panel for Genitourinary Tumors, responsible for creating our checklists for reporting genitourinary cancers. Prof Paner is a contributor to the WHO classification of genitourinary tumors and has co-authored 3 books, several book chapters, and 145 peer-reviewed publications. Prof Paner is the recipient of the prestigious 2016 Arthur Purdy Stout Award.
