The RCPA has been contracted by the Department of Health and Aged Care to increase the Perinatal Pathologists’ professional capacity and capability to undertake stillbirth autopsies and investigations and ensuring these services are available for bereaved parents who choose to access them.
To assist with the promotion of Perinatal Pathology as a career choice, the Stillbirth Investigations – Pathologists Project will be awarding prizes for the best abstract and e-poster by either an Anatomical, Forensic, Genetic or General Pathology Trainee which highlights the vital work of Perinatal Pathologists and why every Trainee should consider a career in Perinatal Pathology.
This award is only open to Australian based Trainees.
