Primary pathological fibrinogenolysis

Primary fibrinogenolysis is an uncommon acquired bleeding disorder which should be distinguished from DIC with secondary fibrin lysis.

Review clinical features; Full blood count, Platelet count, Blood film, APTT, INR, Prothrombin time, Thrombin time, Fibrinogen, D Dimer.
