Diagnosis based on clinical assessment and endoscopy, as appropriate.

Brushings for cytology, lesion biopsy for histology, microscopy, fungal and viral detection, motility and pH studies, if indicated.

Gastro-oesophageal reflux

 

Alcohol excess

  • Acid/ alkali
