A/Prof Paul McKenzie was immediate past President of the College from 2009 to 2011. He was admitted to College Fellowship in 1984 and obtained an RCPA Diploma of Cytopathology in 1997. He has been a College Examiner in Anatomical Pathology since 2000. Paul has been a College representative on various external committees since the mid 1990’s and has also been a member of a number of College committees. He has been a NATA assessor since 1987. As Director of Anatomical Pathology, he maintains a full diagnostic reporting workload and has authored over 30 publications including 2 book chapters.
 
Paul will bring an immense amount of experience to the Foundation and help achieve the Foundation’s vision of funding initiatives and sponsoring key pathology projects in areas such as education and research.
Dr Stewart Bryant MBBS, FRCPA, MAACB

Dr Bryant is a medical graduate of the University of Queensland. He was admitted to Fellowship of the College in 1969 and as a Member of the AACB in 1971. He worked at the Royal Brisbane Hospital from 1970-1995, initially as a staff Chemical Pathologist, then as Director of Chemical Pathology and finally as Director of Pathology Services. In 1995 he became Director of SouthPath based at the St George Hospital in Sydney and in 2000 Director of Pathology Services at Southern Cross Pathology (Southern Health) in Melbourne. Currently he is a Transfusion Medicine Specialist with the ARCBS in Brisbane.
